CELEBRATE YORKSHIRE ON SATURDAY!

25 February 2014

Big plans for Saturday’s game with Barnsley

Town are back in action on Saturday when Barnsley arrive for the latest Sky Bet Championship game of the season – and there’s plenty to get you in the mood for an old fashioned Yorkshire derby ahead of kick-off!

Saturday’s match day has a Yorkshire theme running throughout, with Town showcasing lots of reasons to be proud of the county!

The day begins at PPG Canalside, where the kitchen will be serving Giant Yorkshire puddings with a varied choice of filling between noon and 2.30pm. You can pre-order your food to be ready for a time of your choosing online now – click HERE.

The bar at PPG Canalside is also getting in the mood, serving Timothy Taylor ale and Yorkshire Blonde from Ossett Brewery!

Fans enjoying hospitality at the John Smith’s Stadium will also have plenty to look forward to, with special guests Martyn Moxon and Andrew Gale making an appearance from Yorkshire County Cricket Club ahead of kick-off in the White Rose Club.

Meanwhile, guests in the Spring Partners Suite can listen to tenor Laurence Robinson perform; he will also perform for fans ahead of kick-off.

Club Ambassador Andy Booth will also entertain guests with a special Yorkshire quiz, with some great prizes on offer!

If you want to enjoy hospitality ahead of Saturday’s game, visit www.htafccommercial.com for full details.

Fans wanting to show their pride in the county should visit the Stadium Superstore pre-match, where you can buy special Yorkshire Rose car stickers and pin badges. The teams will emerge from the tunnel through a Guard of Honour formed by another Yorkshire club – Town’s club partner Brighouse Juniors.

Between the two halves, Town will be graced by a true Huddersfield and Yorkshire legend on the pitch in World Cup winner Ray Wilson, who will help the Club make a special announcement.
