Loan spell ends for young ‘keeper

Young goalkeeper Ed Wilczynski has today returned to Huddersfield Town following the conclusion of his one month loan spell at Trafford FC.

The 20 year-old custodian made four starts for the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League club during November, adding to the experience of senior football he gained during a similar loan stint at FC United of Manchester in the early part of 2014.

Having grown up locally in Mount, Ed joined the Huddersfield Town Academy at under-14 level having played junior football for Collegians in Salendine Nook.
He has made one appearance for Frankie Bunn’s Under-21 side in the Professional Development League 2 North this campaign and was among the substitutes in Monday night’s 3-1 PDL 2 North win at Sheffield Wednesday.
