FANS HAVE LATEST SAY ON HOME MATCH DAY EXPERIENCE

Results of newest ‘All Together Town’ survey released

A total of 229 Town fans responded to the latest ‘All Together Town’ fan survey which gave HTAFC supporters the chance to feedback on elements of the home match day experience.
 
The first ATT fans survey was sent in October 2013 and the update asked fans to comment on the most important issue affecting their home match day experience, as well as seeking feedback on where it may have improved in the last 12 months. 
 
Ideas to increase attendances were sought and fans were also invited to take part in continuing online feedback. Those supporters who attend games with children were also asked to give ideas on how to improve the child’s experiences on match days.
 
Supporters have identified match day catering as the most important area which needs improving (36%) and this is an area which was discussed in detail at the most recent ATT Voices Panel meeting on Monday 15 December, the notes of which will be published on htafc.com early next week. The match day programme was the second most important issue on the list (14%).
 
63% of supporters reported seeing some improvement to their match day experience in the past 12 months and 27% cited the North Stand Loyal as the biggest improvement to their day.
Fans with children who completed the survey wanted to see more child friendly activities on match day at the Stadium to improve their experience.
 
A further 124 people have signed up to be part of the All Together Town online opinions panel and they will be contacted by the Club via email to give further feedback on specific subjects, while 37 supporters have expressed an interest in supporting the work of the Club’s voluntary Supporter Liaison Officer Nathan Hosker. These fans will be contacted to explore how they may be able to assist.

Huddersfield Town’s Chief Executive Nigel Clibbens commented:
 
“Firstly I would like to thank all the fans who took the time to fill out the survey.
 
“The results clearly show the areas that are highest on the agenda for the majority of fans across the board, meaning we can now look at specific issues in more detail.
 
“There are a number of factors affecting catering including stock levels; types of food available and levels of service to name a few. 
 
“Some of the suggestions our supporters have made can be quickly and easily implemented by the Club; a list of these will appear on htafc.com in the coming days. Other issues are more difficult and will require input from other parties, in particular KSDL, the Stadium operating company and Sodexo, the Stadium catering partner of KSDL.”
