Lillis makes four changes to starting line-up

Huddersfield Town Caretaker Manager Mark Lillis has made four changes to the starting line-up for tonight’s Capital One Cup Second Round tie at home to Nottingham Forest; 7.45pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

The first change sees Lee Peltier miss out from facing the Club he played for on loan last season due to the groin issue that forced him off the pitch on Saturday. His place in the side is taken by Adam Hammill, who makes his first start since the opening day defeat to AFC Bournemouth.

Peltier’s absence means that Joel Lynch captains the side for the first time on home soil, having done so in this season’s away games at Cardiff City and Reading. The Wales international joined Town from tonight’s opponents in 2012, having made 90 appearances in a Forest shirt over four seasons.

Town’s second change comes in goal. As was the case in Town’s First Round win at Chesterfield, Joe Murphy replaces Alex Smithies – it’s his first competitive start at home for the Club.

Danny Ward also comes back into the side at the expense of Sean Scannell, who joins Smithies among the substitutes this evening.

The final change comes in attack, where Nahki Wells is given a rest having received a stiff kick to the ankle in Saturday’s draw with Charlton. His place in attack is taken by Jonathan Stead.

Loanee Radoslaw Majewski is also ineligible to face his parent club, so there are places on the bench for young Academy graduates Jordan Sinnott, Duane Holmes and Philip Billing tonight.
