Matt Crooks makes Town debut

Huddersfield Town Manager Mark Robins has handed a Football League debut to 20-year old Academy graduate Matt Crooks in today’s season opener against AFC Bournemouth; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

The 6’ 4” tall Huddersfield native looks set to line up at centre half after impressing during the pre-season campaign. 

There’s also a Huddersfield Town debut for summer recruit Radoslaw Majewski, whereas Lee Peltier makes his first league appearance for Town since the 2010/11 season as expected.

Elsewhere in the team Joel Lynch makes his 50th Town start and Danny Ward his 150th League appearance.
