Terriers new retail presence open from 6 September

Shopping at Huddersfield Town will become more convenient than ever for supporters when the Club opens a new retail shop in the town centre on Saturday 6 September.

The shop will open in the Packhorse Shopping Centre, located in the heart of Huddersfield with an entrance off the pedestrianized King Street.

To celebrate the opening the first 100 customers through the doors will receive a free Town gift!

The new store will sell a full range of Huddersfield Town replica shirts and official merchandise, adding to the existing Stadium Superstore at the John Smith’s Stadium and online offering at

It will be the first time that the Club has had a retail presence in the town centre since the old Sporting Pride store – which was shared with the Huddersfield Giants – closed in August 2013.

Huddersfield Town’s Retail Manager Luke Cowan explained:

“We constantly review our retail operation at the Club and in August 2013 changing circumstances made the old Sporting Pride store untenable.

“However, our intention has always been to try and have a retail presence back in Huddersfield town centre for the convenience of our supporters who cannot make it to the Stadium on non-match days and prefer to browse our wide range of products in person as opposed to online.

“The Packhorse Centre is a great location at the heart of the town centre, with lots of footfall from the main shopping area. The shop will be ideally located and stock a full range of everything the Club has to offer.

“Full details of next Saturday’s opening will be released though the club’s website next week, and I’m looking forward to seeing lots of our supporters in the Town centre taking advantage of our new location.”
