GOOD FRIDAY FAMILY DAY

16 April 2014

Lots in store at PPG Canalside

Make sure you get down to PPG Canalside on Easter Friday ahead of Town’s Sky Bet Championship game at home to Brighton & Hove Albion, where there will be lots for all the family to enjoy!

Starting from 12.30pm, Town’s training complex has lots in store to keep your little ones entertained ahead of the 3pm kick-off against the promotion-chasing Seagulls.

The star of the show will be the Premier League Trophy, which is making a special guest appearance at the complex to let Town fans have their picture taken alongside it! That opportunity has been made possible due to Town’s new commercial partnership with Barclays – click HERE for full information.

In exchange for a photo, a voluntary donation to the Town Foundation – the Club’s official registered charity – can be made.

The ever-popular Terry the Terrier and Captain Booth, the Town Foundation mascot, will also be around on the day for pictures!

As well as the famous silverware, young Town fans will also be able to enjoy face painting, balloon modelling and a bouncy castle and there will be an array of food and drink available to purchase from the recently refurbished kitchen facility.

There’s also something in store for older Town fans, with Head of Football Operations Ross Wilson taking centre stage in the Radcliffe Suite for the traditional pre-match question and answer session from 12.30pm. This is your chance to ask the Director about his day to day life at The Yorkshire Club, which incorporates scouting, the Academy, transfers and much more!

The first 200 children that make it to PPG Canalside for the Family Day will also receive a complimentary Easter Egg!

Huddersfield Town's Supporter Partnerships Manager Robyn Deegan commented:

“As well as providing a top class training ground for the football club, a big ethos that drove the redevelopment of PPG Canalside was to provide top class community facilities and it’s great that we can again fulfil that purpose in this way.

“There’s lots in store for all the family on Good Friday, so I hope we see lots of Town fans and their families down at PPG Canalside ahead of the game.”

Car parking at PPG Canalside is free for members and just £4 for non-members, just as on any other match day.

Tickets for the Terriers’ game against Brighton are on sale now, with prices set at category C – click HERE to buy online now!
