Striker wins August Player of the MonthTown’s Blue and White Foundation members have had their say and voted unanimously for James Vaughan to be their August Player of the Month.
The 25 year-old was in sensational form during August, scoring eight goals in just seven appearances.
The former Evertonian hit seven goals in four games during mid-August including a hat trick a Bournemouth. He also scored a brace against Bradford and netted against Queens Park Rangers, Millwall and Barnsley respectively.
Vaughan’s fellow Liverpudlian, Adam Hammill, came second in the voting.
BWF member Carl Crossland was picked out at random from those that voted for Vaughan and he will now get the chance to meet James and present him with a bottle of champagne ahead of the Doncaster game on 14 September.
Carl will receive a commemorative photograph of the occasion and a meal for two courtesy of the Grange Pub and Restaurant at Grange Moor.
