Club saddened by loss of former Academy Scout
Huddersfield Town is saddened to learn that a long-serving member of its Academy staff, Steve Kelly, has passed away.
Steve, 43, was a long-serving member of the Academy’s team in the South Yorkshire area, working as a scout and as a coach at its Development Centre.
A dedicated Huddersfield Town fan, Steve also worked as Academy Manager at Ossett Town and as an advisor to former Town player John Thorrington during his spell at the Club.
Steve’s loss has come as a big shock to the Club’s Academy staff, who worked with Steve over many years.
The Club would like to offer its deepest condolences to Steve’s family and friends at this difficult time.
