Robertson Baxter increase support of Foundation

Town Foundation supporters Robertson Baxter has increased its monthly donation to the Charity after seeing first-hand the good work it does in the community.

Greg Robertson and Stephen Baxter joined the Town Foundation’s Early Kick-Off Breakfast Team at Ashbrow School recently and were astounded at the amazing work going on.

Greg and Stephen have supported the Foundation since early 2013 and as a consequence of their visit to Ashbrow, have since upped their monthly donation to ensure that even more children can enjoy a healthy and nutritious breakfast.

Stephen Baxter said:

“After recently witnessing first-hand the hugely valuable work that the Foundation carry out following a visit to Ashbrow School we are delighted to increase our regular support.

“As a company with family values at its heart the thought that children so close to home still go hungry was simply heart breaking. After discussion within the office not only are Robertson Baxter supporting the Foundation but several members of staff also wanted to give personally to support the work the Foundation do, something we were only too happy to facilitate.”

Town Foundation Corporate Fundraising Officer Mandy Taylor, added:

“It is always a joy to be able to take our corporate supporters to a Breakfast Club, especially so when they receive such a warm welcome as the one at Ashbrow School. Both gents rolled up their sleeves and served the children a healthy breakfast on the day and were clearly touched by the sterling work carried out every day.  Their continued support will ensure that our charity can continue to make a real and valued difference to the children in our town”

Since the 11 Early Kick-Off Breakfast schools returned in September over 8,000 breakfast have been served courtesy of the Foundation!
