Pictures from Town’s defeat at the King Power Stadium
Despite a good performance in Leicester, the Terriers gave themselves too much to do after conceding twice in the first-half – eventually losing 2-1 to hosts Leicester City.
After an opening goal from Foxes striker Jamie Vardy, Anthony Gerrard put through his own goal to double the deficit. However, a second-half strike from substitute Sean Scannell – via a touch from Paul Konchesky – halved the arrears.
Unfortunately the comeback was curtailed by James Vaughan’s red card after that goal; he reacted after a challenge from home centre back Marcin Wasilweski.
