POPPY SHIRTS UP FOR AUCTION

13 November 2013

Own a player-worn poppy match shirt

Huddersfield Town is auctioning a set of unique player-worn shirts to raise funds for the Royal British Legion.

At Town’s Sky Bet Championship game at home to Birmingham on Saturday 9 November, First Team players wore shirts with the poppy emblem printed on the front to mark Remembrance Day.

These shirts – as modelled by First Team players Adam Hammill and Peter Clarke – have been signed on the front by the relevant player and are now available to bid upon via eBay until Thursday 21 November.

Part of the proceeds from the sale will go to the Royal British Legion charity which provides financial, social and emotional support to members of the British Armed Forces, veterans and their dependants.
