Gobern, Hogg, Ward and Burke out in the community
Town’s clash with Reading next month is a dedicated Schools Focus Match, which will offer school children and their families a chance to watch the Terriers at a discounted rate as well as rewarding their school with cashback!
To promote the game, First Team players Oscar Gobern, Danny Ward and Jonathan Hogg have been visiting schools to distribute flyers.
Oscar visited School Partner Shepley First
Danny dropped in at St Aidan’s in Skelmanthorpe
Meanwhile midfielder Hogg had the shortest trip when he popped up to the John Smith’s Stadium to meet with students from South Crosland who were working hard in the Success Centre.
Also, Development Squad defender James Burke is set to visit Dalton Junior and Infant School later this week.
Town’s match against Watford in October was the first Schools Focus Match of the season and helped raise £1,910 in cashback for local schools.
Ahead of the Reading game on Saturday 14 December leaflets will be sent out to over 120 schools in Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield.
Last season £7,947 was given back to Schools via the School Focus match cashback initiative with 5,758 children and their families coming along to watch Town.
