Hundreds of children from the Town Foundation’s Early Kick-Off Breakfast Clubs will attend this Saturday’s match against Burnley free of charge!
Town is celebrating the work of the Foundation this weekend and has offered complimentary tickets to children and their parents, who regularly attend the Breakfast Clubs. The Fantastic Family Stand is expected to be filled, while children from Dalton Junior and Infant school will form the pre-match guard of honour.
The game will also see the release of Club anthem ‘Smile A While produced by local band Redstar.
It will be available to purchase for only £3 from the Stadium Superstore and for approximately £0.79 on iTunes with proceeds going to The Town Foundation Charity. The download is eligible for the UK singles charts and 2000-4000 downloads could potentially enable the track to feature in the UK top 40 or even top 20!
Around the John Smith’s Stadium a bucket collection will be held thanks to an army of volunteers, while fans will be treated to some live music outside the main reception courtesy of the Huddersfield Youth Opera.
Charity supporter’s Igloo Books, who produced the Reading Diaries, will promote its ‘Monkey the Autobiography’ book. It will be available at a heavily discounted price of £5 in the Stadium Superstore. They have also promised to give away some exclusive Monkey Plush gifts.
Also, the Head and Assistant Headteacher of school partner Thornhill Academy will be in attendance and will be the half-time guests.
