Norwood and Paterson called up to O’Neill’s squad
Town duo Martin Paterson and Oliver Norwood have again received call-ups to Michael O’Neill’s Northern Ireland squad.
The pair have been heavily involved in Northern Ireland’s World Cup Qualifying campaign and are likely to make an appearance in the friendly against Turkey at the Ocak Stadium, in Adana on Friday 15 November.
This is the only friendly for O’Neill’s squad during the break, after suffering the disappointment of not qualifying for the World Cup.
Paterson featured in both of the last two qualifiers for Northern Ireland, but failed to trouble the scorers.
Midfielder Norwood made another impressive appearance against Azerbaijan before picking up a yellow card, which ruled him out of the last qualifier.
