Ridehalgh scores as Tranmere hit form
Liam Ridehalgh opened his account for Tranmere Rovers as he and Chris Atkinson continue their good form for the League 1 side.
Both players starred for Tranmere in their demolition of Coventry City on Saturday as Rovers ran out 5-1 victors at Sixfields on Saturday.
That followed a 1-1 draw with Bristol City last Saturday, where Liam opened his account for the Whites with a powerful left-footed strike after 41 minutes. Sam Baldock equalised in the second half, but the draw and recent win maintains Rovers’ six-game unbeaten run in all competitions.
Both players head to Molineux on Tuesday night to face second-placed Wolves, before they host Colchester at Prenton Park on Saturday 30 November.
Daniel Carr was on the bench for Fleetwood as they beat Mansfield 5-4. It was the Cod Army’s first game since Daniel signed last week, and he will be hoping to feature tomorrow night at Accrington Stanley. Fleetwood are just a point behind Sky Bet League Two leaders Oxford who they face this Saturday.
U21 goalkeeper Lloyd Allinson has again been in action for Ilkeston, who were beaten 2-1 at Chorley on Saturday. He kept a clean sheet against Stafford Rangers in a 0-0 draw last week, that coming after a 3-0 defeat to Belper on 12th November. Ilkeston face Ashton United on Saturday and Lloyd will again be expected to feature.
