Midfielder nets as htafc.com reviews loan players
Chris Atkinson was back in the goals for loan side Tranmere Rovers as they earned an impressive draw at Preston North End last week.
The midfielder’s strike in the 55th minute looked to have given Tranmere all three points, only for former Terrier Joe Garner to net in the final minute to earn his side a point.
Liam Ridehalgh also played 90 minutes as he made his seventh start for Rovers.
Both players were given permission to play in the FA Cup on Saturday by Town and both played 90 minutes as Tranmere progressed to the second round with a 1-0 victory over Accrington.
Chris and Liam are next in action on Saturday 16 when Rovers host Bristol City.
Meanwhile, U21 ‘keeper Lloyd Allinson recently extended his loan at Ilkeston until the 30 November and has been busy since.
The stopper has played four games in 12 days as Ilkeston drew with Barwell, beat Frickley Athletic and lost to Rushall Olympic and Witton Albion.
Lloyd is in action tomorrow night when Town travel to Belper Town.
