Young defender plays in all three group games
Defender Danny Kane, who will join Town as a first year Academy scholar from Dublin-based Cherry Orchard next season, has helped Ireland U16s win a UEFA Development Tournament.
Four teams were involved in the tournament in Dublin with Ireland triumphing over Germany, Belgium and Romania.
The defender played 90 minutes in all three games as they beat Germany 1-0, Belgium 2-0 and lost to Romania 1-0.
Town signed Kane in February 2013 and will join the Club in the summer to work with Professional Development Coaches Frankie Bunn and Tony Carss.
Danny spent a short time on trial with the Terriers towards the end of 2012 and has subsequently spent the holiday periods training at ‘The Yorkshire Club’.
