Follow in Town legend Steve Smith’s footsteps!

Town legend Steve Smith graduated from the Huddersfield Town Success Centre recently after completing the popular ‘Catch up with ICT’ computer training course.

The course, now in its third year, is open to adults of all abilities and allows learners to take part in a mixed menu of ICT activities.

Participants are able to learn how to use email, the internet, social networking sites and digital cameras. However, prior to this, the very basics of how to use a mouse, keyboard and basic software are covered.

Over 80 people have completed the course and many have gone on to use the skills they have developed in further education or in employment.

The next ‘Catch up with ICT’ course starts on Tuesday 14 May between 10.30am and 1pm and lasts for eight weeks. The sessions will take place in the Huddersfield Town Success Centre base in the Fantastic Media Stand. The course is not only entirely free to participants, but also includes unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits! If you would like to participate in the course please ring Emma Fox on 01484 234153.

Huddersfield Town Success Centre is a schools and community focused educational centre jointly managed by Huddersfield Town and Kirklees Council. For more information about the centre ring Mike Mawson on 01484 234153.
