Town’s Blue and White Foundation to celebrate ten years
Later this year Town’s Blue and White Foundation will celebrate its tenth year!
This year’s Jackpot draw will be the tenth that the Foundation has hosted since its inception in 2003.
In November one lucky BWF member will walk away from Canalside Sports Complex £20,000 better off, taking the total given out to fans over the Foundation’s ten years to £306,628!
Proceeds from the Foundation help fund the operating costs of the Club’s Academy. So far, in the region of £700,000 has been donated by the Blue and White Foundation to help the Academy produce the next stars of the future.
Furthermore, BWF members are automatically entered into the Club’s On the Move lottery which has given out over £1m in prize money over the last ten years.
Town’s Promotions Manager Karen Haigh commented:
“I am delighted with the growth that the Blue and White Foundation has shown over the years and when you look at the money that we have given out, either to fans or to the Academy, it really is staggering!
