Town’s npower representatives at Charlton match

Honley Junior School – Town’s npower U11s Community Cup representatives – are in action on the pitch this Saturday.

Honley (pictured in the orange kit above) will play an exhibition match against School Partner Kirkheaton during the half-time interval of the Charlton game in preparation for the regional heats on Thursday 14 March.

The regional heats will take place at the Zone on St Andrews Road (11am) and will be officiated by Town’s Football in the Community Team. 

The teams competing are Barnsley, Blackburn, Blackpool, Bolton, Burnley, Hull, Leeds, Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves.

Town representatives Meltham Church of England Primary, won the Under-11s competition in May 2011, beating their opponents from Bristol Rovers 2-0 at Old Trafford ahead of Town’s npower League 1 Play-Off Final against Peterborough United.
