Robins names unchanged starting XI
Huddersfield Town Manager Mark Robins has named an unchanged starting XI for today’s npower Championship game at home to Charlton Athletic; 3pm kick-off.
It is the first time in Robins’ embryotic tenure as Town Manager that he has named the same team in successive games, but comes as little surprise after Tuesday night’s impressive performance and victory over Middlesbrough.
This side lined up in a 4-4-2 formation in midweek and once again today goalkeeper Alex Smithies should play behind a back four of Paul Dixon, Captain Peter Clarke, Anthony Gerrard – who recovered from the Achilles issue that forced him off against Middlesbrough – and right back Jack Hunt.
Oscar Gobern makes the 50th League appearance of his career in central midfield alongside Northern Ireland international Oliver Norwood, with loanee Neil Danns on the left and Adam Clayton on the right.
Up front Lee Novak partners Jamaican international Theo Robinson.
