Clibbens and Wilson showcase strategy
The HTAFC Patrons got an exclusive look at the Club’s Strategic Plan from Chief Executive Nigel Clibbens and Head of Football Operations Ross Wilson at the latest meeting of the season at Canalside last night.
This was the first time this plan has been presented publically to supporters in detail, with Nigel giving the Patrons a look at the blueprint for Huddersfield Town since the start of the ‘New Era’ under Chairman Dean Hoyle in 2009.
Nigel discussed the idea behind the Club’s mission statement, five key objectives and its 10 point pledge, along with the four key areas of focus, with football of course the top priority; the Academy, the Business side of the Club and its Community work and how all the areas are interlinked.
Town’s Chief Executive also talked about current issues affecting the Club.
Head of Football Operations Ross Wilson then took centre stage, presenting the Club’s Football Operations plan. That explained how the core football operations work, including a look at scouting, recruitment, player development analytics and Sports Science work.
The plan also included Town’s strategy for the next two seasons.

The next Patrons away trip will be to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday 13 April. Cost will be roughly £16 which includes travel on an Executive coach and a carvery meal pre match at a location close to the Molineux Stadium. Coach will depart at 9.30am from the gym entrance to the Stadium.
