Partner to enter second of three year contract as home shirt sponsors
Premium Swedish cider brand Rekorderlig will have their logo emblazoned across the front of Town’s home shirts during the 2013/14 Championship season.
Rekorderlig signed a record-breaking deal with the Club ahead of last year’s Championship campaign, which would see them sponsor Town’s home shirts for the following three seasons.
The Beautifully Swedish cider is a familiar name for the Club's supporters; their logo appeared on the back of Town's away shirts during the successful 2011/12 season and their distinctive red branding can't be missed around the Stadium on Huddersfield Town home match days and at Canalside Sports Complex.
First created in Vimmerby, Sweden, in 1999, Rekorderlig is seeing huge growth both in the UK and around the world thanks to Chilli Marketing, the premium drinks company with the global rights for the brand. The company was set up by three former Huddersfield University students - Gareth Whittle, Kieron Barton and Christian Barton - in 2004 and has grown from strength to strength. Rekorderlig Cider is available in several stunning flavours; Strawberry-Lime, Wild Berries, Mango-Raspberry, Apple, Pear, Apple & Blackcurrant, Peach & Apricot, Winter Cider and the latest addition for summer 2013 - Passionfruit. The products are stocked in bars (including at Canalside Sports Complex) and supermarkets across the UK.
