BOOTHY OPENS LOWERHOUSES CLASSROOM

24 June 2013

Club Ambassador visits school partner

Huddersfield Town’s Club Ambassador Andy Booth visited school partner Lowerhouses J I & N School on Friday to open its new outdoor classroom.

Boothy joined the pupils of the school to open the new outdoor learning space, which they will use during the new school term.

“I was delighted to open the new outdoor learning space for the school,” Boothy told htafc.com. “You could see how excited the children at the school were and it was an honour to be a part of it.

“Lowerhouses have invested in this area for its pupils and I’m sure it will be a real addition to the school.”

Andy’s attendance at the opening was one of the perks of Lowerhouses’ partnership with the Club.

In just two years Huddersfield Town has actively formed closer links with over 50 local schools through the School Partnership scheme.

The scheme provides schools with access to discounted tickets, support sessions, sports equipment and coaching days courtesy of the Club’s Football in the Community department.

Involvement in the scheme is totally FREE to any school who wants to become an official Huddersfield Town Partner School.
