Robins selects strong starting XI
Mark Robins has named his side for tonight’s pre-season friendly against Real Betis.
Alex Smithies starts in goal protected by a back four of Paul Dixon, Joel Lynch, Captain Peter Clarke and Jack Hunt.
In midfield, Oliver Norwood and Jordan Sinnott will play behind Adam Clayton (right), Martin Paterson (centre) and Sean Scannell (left).
Last season’s top scorer James Vaughan will lead the line.
