Proceeds from Twenty20 match to be donated to charity
A Huddersfield Town XI will take on an Ex-Players and Guests XI in a Twenty20 cricket match on Sunday (21 July) to raise funds for the Town Foundation.
Held at Armitage Bridge Cricket Club, the event is a cricket fun day extravaganza which starts at 10.30am with an Under-9s tournament. Confirmed teams so far include Armitage Bridge, Hall Bower, Almondbury Wesleyans, Holmfirth, Bradley and Colne Bridge, Clayton West, Upperthong and Cumberworth.
The main event is the Twenty20 match which is set to start at around 2pm. Confirmed players for the Huddersfield Town XI includes Manager Mark Robins and his coaching staff, Commercial Director Sean Jarvis and match day pitch announcer Paul Ramsden.
