DULWICH DATE NEXT FOR U21s

22 July 2013

Steve Eyre’s men head to London

After a convincing victory at Radcliffe Borough on Friday evening, Steve Eyre takes his development players to Dulwich Hamlet on Tuesday night.

Dulwich finished last season on a high after lifting the Ryman League Division One South Championship. Town striker Daniel Carr was instrumental in the team’s success, scoring 25 goals.

A number of well-known players have gone on to have successful careers after playing for Dulwich. Peter Crouch, Simeon Jackson, Ian Wright and Marlon King all played for the Southwark based club.

Dulwich – 2012/13 season

Managed by Gavin Rose, Dulwhich gained promotion to the Premier Division of the Isthmian League last term.

Dulwich’s point on the last day of the season guaranteed them promotion ahead of Maidstone United by a single point.

Dulwich – ones to watch

Despite Carr’s impressive goal tally last season, he was beaten in the goal scoring charts by Erhun Oztumer who notched 27 goals.

Oztumer was a junior at Charlton before moving back to his native Turkey to play for Super Lig outfits Manisaspor and Sivasspor.

Midfielders Ellis Green and Nyren Clunis also chipped in on the goal front with 13 goals each.
