TOWN’S TEAM vs. WATFORD

19 January 2013

One change to starting XI

Huddersfield Town Manager Simon Grayson has made one change to his starting XI for today’s npower Championship game at Watford; 3pm kick-off at Vicarage Road.

Calum Woods comes back into the side after a three game absence to play at right back; with Oliver Norwood making way, this will see Jack Hunt move forward to the right wing position for the first time this season, with Neil Danns moving into central midfield.

Town are otherwise unchanged from the 1-1 home draw against Birmingham City last weekend and are expected to line up in a 4-4-2 formation this afternoon. Goalkeeper Alex Smithies will start in goal behind a back four of Paul Dixon, Anthony Gerrard, Calum Woods and skipper Peter Clarke, who is making his 150th League start for the Club today. Neil Danns will partner Adam Clayton in central midfield, with Sean Scannell starting on the left wing and Jack Hunt on the right. Up front, Jermaine Beckford will partner James Vaughan.
