Huddersfield Town has six youngsters currently out on loan who were all involved in competitive football over the festive period – below is a check on how they got on!

Liam Ridehalgh - Rotherham

Town’s young left back played in two games over the festive period and helped Rotherham record six points. He was an unused substitute on Boxing Day as the Millers fell to defeat against Port Vale.

However he returned to the fold on the 29 December as Rotherham hammered Accrington 4-1 and then he helped the Millers kick-off 2013 with a win against Rochdale.

Jordan Sinnott – Altrincham

Town’s Development Team Captain Jordan Sinnott has played 180 minutes for Altrincham over the festive period. Both games were against Stalybridge Celtic as Altrincham recorded a 2-2 draw and a 2-1 victory.

Altrincham had two games postponed over the Christmas period due to inclement weather against Boston and Histon.

The midfielder will next be in action on Saturday when Altrincham welcome Harrogate Town.

Connor Loftus – Mossley

Loftus made a dream start to his short spell at Mossley with a goal on debut as they recorded a home victory against Ossett Town.

The striker was then subbed in the second half in his second match as Mossley fell to a 4-0 defeat against New Mills. Mossley has also had a game postponed against Clitheroe.

The young striker is next in action against Ossett Albion.

James Burke and Matt Crooks – Radcliffe Borough

Both midfielder Crooks and defender Burke have been involved heavily for Radcliffe over the festive period. On Boxing Day Boro recorded a draw against Salford and then they started 2013 with a 3-2 defeat against Ramsbottom United. Midfielder Crooks scored one of Radcliffe’s consolations.

The pair is next in action against Clitheroe on Saturday 5.
