180 fans are now signed up to the Pink Link 'Pedal for Pounds 4' bike ride along with Chairman Dean Hoyle and there is just one week left to get your entry forms in if you haven’t already!
P4P4: Tour of Yorkshire will see fans take to their bikes for the fourth consecutive season to raise funds for the lifesaving YAA charity and the Huddersfield Town Academy.
The ride will start in Huddersfield on Wednesday 1 May 2013 with cyclists taking a circular route around God’s own county to Hull, Scarborough, Harrogate and back to Huddersfield in time for the Club’s last home league fixture v Barnsley on Saturday 4 May 2013.
The deadline to sign up is Wednesday 23 January.
Commercial Director Sean Jarvis, who is partaking in the ride along with Chairman Dean Hoyle and Club Ambassador Andy Booth commented; “We really want to get as many people as possible to take part in this, the Club’s fourth Pedal for Pounds bike ride, so to see 180 signed up so far is fantastic.
“From fans, to sponsors, to Club partners, the ride has been very well received and supported and I’d encourage anyone thinking of signing up to do so- you won’t regret it!"
The Club’s previous three bike rides have contributed over half a million pounds to the £720,000 raised for the campaign so far since its inception in 2009, and we are hoping to reach the target of £1 million.
