Great night had at Canalside Sports Complex
The Media team won its second successive Patrons Quiz on a competitive Thursday night meeting at Canalside Sports Complex – but it was a close run thing!
The media foursome – consisting of the Examiner’s Doug Thomson, Huddersfield Town’s Chief Executive Nigel Clibbens, Communications Manager Dave Sykes and Designer James Lodge – won MC Paul Whiteley’s annual quiz by a narrow margin, just ahead of the Club team; Andy Booth, Matt Crooks, Chris Senior and Chris Markham.
The Patrons’ own team finished third, just one point ahead of the four man representation from HTSA.
Despite the inclement weather, a good crowd turned out for the evening, with several people walking away with spot prizes after displaying their football knowledge during breaks.
There was even room for a surprise guest on the evening – Chairman Dean Hoyle attended and even posed the questions for a few rounds!
