Huddersfield Town’s first home game of 2013 takes place on Saturday when Birmingham City visit for a 3pm kick-off – and there’s a lot to look forward to on the day aside from the football!
Whilst Simon Grayson’s side will be looking to build on last weekend’s win at Charlton against the Blues, managed by the returning Lee Clark, there is also lots to look forward to off the field.
From 12.30pm, former terrace favourite Darren Bullock will regale Town fans with tales from his time as a Terrier in the now traditional pre-match Q&A session – click HERE for full info on ‘Bully’s’ return.
Ahead of the match at the Stadium, ‘Action Man’ Alan Boothroyd will be the guest of honour in the prestigious White Rose Club as he prepares for his fundraising run – fitting 40 marathons in 20 days for the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign (click HERE for full info).
Town fans will be able to sign up to another ‘Keep It Up’ initiative on match day too – the Pink Link ‘Pedal for Pounds 4’ bike ride! Simply visit the Info Point behind the Direct Golf UK Stand from 1.30pm on Saturday. Another famous face will be getting ready for the bike ride next to the Info Point on a static bike – Terry the Terrier!
A host of the next generation will be getting their introduction to Huddersfield Town ahead of the game too, with the latest ‘Terrier 7s’ presentation of the season taking place.
All the regular features of a Huddersfield Town match day will also take place, such as the half-time entertainment – this week a crossbar challenge.
The award-winning match day magazine, Give Us An H, will carry plenty of health information on the day too; Fitness Coach Tom Little will offer advice on how to burn fat, there’s info on the new ‘Get Fit with Town’ scheme run by the Club’s Community scheme (click HERE for full info) and much more!
The game against Lee Clark’s Birmingham side is a category B fixture, meaning prices start from £21 adults, £14 seniors and students and £8 under-16s
