School partner visits Football in the Community

Huddersfield Town school partner Holmfirth High School visited the Zone, St Andrews Road to take part in a fun day organised by the Club’s Football in the Community department.

The school children enjoyed and participated in activities run and set up by Town’s Football in the Community coaches.

Town recently signed up its 50th schools partner when Netherhall Learning Campus joined the sceme, which provides schools with support sessions, sports equipment and coaching days free of charge courtesy of the Club’s Football in the Community department.

Involvement in the scheme is totally free of charge to any school who wants to become an official Huddersfield Town Partner School. The scheme has five tiers of commitment which means schools can participate at any level they desire.

The aim of the partnership is to formalise all the offerings Huddersfield Town currently make to schools in one service through the Club, FITC and support sessions. It will also provide schools with assistance during the recession through 'cashback' schemes, student rewards, player visits and school kits provided by Huddersfield Town.
