Defender scoops December award
Town defender Anthony Gerrard has been voted by Blue & White Foundation members as their December ‘Player of the Month’!
Town’s summer signing from Cardiff produced a number of excellent performances in the heart of the Terriers defence and also scored his first goal for the Club against Blackpool on Boxing Day.
Gerrard fought off competition from Jack Hunt and Adam Clayton to win the award.
BWF member Clair Watson of Bradford was one of the many fans that voted for the former Hull man and was drawn at random to meet Anthony ahead of Saturday’s game with Birmingham to present him with his champagne!
She will also receive a commemorative photograph with Anthony as well as a meal for two courtesy of the Grange pub and restaurant at Grange Moor.
