Midfielder moves on loan to npower League 2 outfit
Town midfielder Anton Robinson has moved on loan to npower League 2 Gillingham for the remainder of the season.
Robinson has joined League 2 table toppers Gillingham on the final day of the January transfer window and is expected to go into Martin Allen’s squad for their match at home to Wycombe on February 4.
The 26 year-old has made just two appearances for the Terriers this season, as a substitute against Bristol City and as a starter in the 3-0 defeat at Middlesbrough.
Robinson was signed from Bournemouth prior to last season’s promotion winning campaign in which he made 30 appearances and scored one goal – the winner against Yeovil. In total the former Weymouth midfielder made 32 appearances for the Terriers, which includes 17 starts.
