Promotions Department thank agents for their hard work

Town's 'On the Move' lottery agents work hard for the Club throughout the year collecting money for the weekly draw – and they were given a day off for their efforts as the Club's Promotions Department took them to the dogs!

Town’s Promotions Manager Karen Haigh and the rest of the Department's staff took around 100 agents to Owlerton Greyhound Stadium in Sheffield on Tuesday night to say thanks for their dedication throughout the year.

The agents and their guests converged on Canalside Sports Complex during the afternoon before heading over to Sheffield for 6pm.

Town's staff also held a raffle on the evening in which agents had the chance to win signed memorabilia. Dave Fox from Club Partner Total Food Services won a signed home shirt; Mark Castle scooped a signed away shirt while Lee Brown of the Grange Pub won a signed goalie shirt!

All the money raised from the raffle will go towards funding the Club’s Academy.

Below are some pictures of the night:

Promotions Manager Karen Haigh commented:

"Our 'On the Move' agents perform such a vital job for the Club by collecting the money that goes into the draw every Tuesday and this trip to the dogs is just one of our ways of saying thank you to them.

"The event was very well attended and everyone seemed to have a great time - especially those that won a few bets!"
