Robins makes four changes to starting XI
Huddersfield Town Manager Mark Robins has made four changes to his starting XI for today’s npower Championship fixture at home to Ipswich Town.
Scott Arfield returns to midfield to make the 200th League appearance of his career at the expense of Oliver Norwood, whereas elsewhere Paul Dixon makes his first start in the League since the defeat at Watford just over a month ago – replacing Jack Hunt.
Midfielder Oscar Gobern makes his first League start of the season today, replacing Sean Scannell in the starting line-up, with the final change coming at centre back, where Anthony Gerrard replaces Joel Lynch.
Town look set to line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation today, with goalkeeper Alex Smithies aiming for a 10th clean sheet of the season behind a back four of Paul Dixon, Anthony Gerrard, Captain Peter Clarke and Calum Woods. Oscar Gobern is expected to join Neil Danns in a deep midfield pairing with Scott Arfield, Adam Clayton and Lee Novak behind central striker James Vaughan.
New loan signing Theo Robinson is among Town’s seven substitutes today.
