EXTENDED DEALS FOR DEVELOPMENT TRIO

Three members of Huddersfield Town’s Development Squad have extended their deals for the rest of the 2012/13 season.
Defenders Tom Smith and Robbie McIntyre, alongside midfielder Dale Hopson, all joined the Club featuring in the new Under-21 Professional Development League and have now extended their short term deals until the end of the current campaig; they are pictured above alongside teammate Scott Kay.
Former Manchester City Academy player Smith has appeared as an unused sub for the First Team this season during the FA Cup win at Charlton in early January, adding to his 10 appearances for Town’s Under-21 side so far this season.
Scottish left back McIntyre has made 12 appearances for Steve Eyre’s Development side, whereas former Darlington midfielder Hopson has made a total of 13 Under-21 appearances.
Senior Professional Development Coach Eyre’s side are back in competitive action on Monday 25 February when they travel to local rivals Leeds United.
