Steve Eyre names side for pre-season friendly

Huddersfield Town’s Senior Professional Development Coach Steve Eyre has named his side for tonight’s Development Squad friendly against AFC Emley; 7.15pm kick-off at the Welfare Ground. 

Town’s side is expected to line up in a 4-3-1-2 formation this evening, with goalkeeper Lloyd Allinson protected by a back four of Robbie McIntyre, Liam Ridehalgh, Tom Smith and Duane Holmes, who plays at right back tonight.

Dale Hopson, Matt Crooks and Max Leonard will form the midfield trio with Kallum Higginbotham – the only overage player in the line-up tonight – playing just behind the front two of Jimmy Spencer and Daniel Carr.

Goalkeeper Ed Wilczynski is joined among the substitutes tonight by Academy scholars Joe Wilkinson, Philip Billing and Jake Charles.
