SINNOTT LOANED TO BURY

7 August 2013

Midfielder joins League 2 side until January 2014

Huddersfield Town midfielder Jordan Sinnott has today joined League 2 Bury on a youth loan until 5 January 2014 inclusive.

The 19 year-old made his first team breakthrough at the Club last season, making a total of three appearances to supplement the 22 starts he made in the Under-21 Professional Development League as Development Squad Captain.

Jordan also played six games in the Blue Square Bet National for loan club Altrincham in late 2012.

He will now join the Shakers on a youth loan until January to add to his first team experience, as Manager Mark Robins explained:

“This loan move is ideal for Jordan at this stage in his development.

“I’ve talked about his ability quite a lot during pre-season as he came to the fore during our preparation and now he can continue that playing football at a very good level under Kevin Blackwell at Bury.

“We will monitor Jordan’s development and game-time very closely during his spell at Gigg Lane, then hopefully he will return to us in January and be pushing me for a spot in our starting eleven.”

Jordan is a graduate of Town’s Academy, having initially joined the Club at under-15 level. He signed his first professional contract with the Terriers in the summer of 2012.
