BOURNEMOUTH TEST NEXT UP FOR TOWN

20 August 2013

Cherries in town on Saturday

Eddie Howe’s newly promoted AFC Bournemouth are Town’s next Championship opponents when they visit West Yorkshire for the latest game of the season on Saturday.

Despite a heavy defeat at Watford, the Cherries have started the new season in promising fashion, recording good home victories over Charlton Athletic and much-fancied Wigan Athletic last weekend.

With Town coming into the game on the back of Saturday’s superb win at Millwall, the on the pitch action is guaranteed to be competitive!

Away from the pitch, there is also plenty being planned. As always with a 3pm Saturday kick-off, the day will start at Canalside with the traditional pre-match question and answer session, scheduled to start at 12.30pm; stay tuned to htafc.com for confirmation of the guest!

Ahead of the game there will be a bucket collection for Huddersfield Hospital Radio who have been broadcasting Town games to patients since 1953 as well as a big announcement regarding the Town Foundation!

When the players run out for the 3pm kick-off, the prestigious ‘Guard of Honour’ will be comprised of the winners of the first 1908 Loyalty Scheme raffle – click HERE to find out more about the Club’s new initiative.

There will also be a presentation made to young Town professional Duane Holmes from the League Football Education during the half-time interval.
