Southern back in starting line-up

Keith Southern makes his first start for the Terriers in over four months in the only change to the starting line-up for tonight’s 7.45pm kick-off against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

The experienced midfielder completes his return following Achilles surgery at the expense of Oscar Gobern, who drops to the substitutes’ bench tonight.

Mark Robins has named an otherwise unchanged side for tonight’s match, with goalkeeper Alex Smithies protected by a back four of Paul Dixon, Anthony Gerrard, Captain Peter Clarke and Calum Woods, who is making his 50th appearance for the Club this evening.

Keith Southern will line up alongside Oliver Norwood in central midfield behind the more advanced trio of Sean Scannell, Adam Clayton and former Blackburn player Neil Danns with James Vaughan leading the line.
