Bank Holiday fun for local kids

200 lucky young Town fans will take on a team of 11 Huddersfield Town legends in May as the Club’s Kids Game returns for a rematch by popular demand!
The event, which will be sponsored by Huddersfield Town partners CBC Computers, will see 200 children aged between six and 13 take on 11 Town legends on the Stadium pitch on Bank Holiday Monday 6 May 2013 - and your child could take part!
The Kids Game is completely FREE for junior Season Card holders aged between 6 and 13 and just £5 for non-Season Card holders aged six to 13.
As well as enjoying the hour long game of football, there will be lots of other activities happening on the day such the popular Speed Gun challenge and a football freestyle demonstration.

Huddersfield Town’s Club Ambassador Andy Booth is likely to feature for the Town legends:

“I’m delighted the Kids Match is making a return to our calendar, as it gives 200 local youngsters the chance to run out onto the pitch and get the experience of a lifetime.

“In the original game in 2011 you could see how much some of the children enjoyed the game and the entire day’s activity and I hope we can help to make some dreams come true on Bank Holiday Monday.

“I know that the team of legends probably won’t be known by the kids we are playing on the day, but hopefully a few Town fans can come down and watch some of their old heroes in action. It might be a bit slower than the last time they saw us though!”
