Town squad make surprise visits during Easter
Several members of Town’s squad made surprise visits to Soccer Schools held at the Zone during the Easter holidays!
Town’s First Team midfielder Neil Danns made a trip to the Zone on Monday last week, with children attending the Soccer School getting pictures and autographs from the former Bristol City and Blackburn Rovers man.
That was closely followed by a visit from home-grown midfielder Chris Atkinson on Tuesday, who held a 15 minute ‘question and answer’ session for the children in attendance!
The next Soccer School started at the Zone on Thursday and on-loan striker Theo Robinson popped in to say hello to the bumper crowd. As an extra added bonus for the children, he brought along midfielder Oscar Gobern – the pair travel to and from training together!
Academy graduate Matt Crooks rounded off a great week for the kids by visiting the final Soccer School on Friday to say hello and sign autographs.
Player meet and greets are just one highlight for kids that attend Town’s Soccer Schools down on St. Andrews Road. Town’s fully qualified coaches offering expert tutoring for children aged between five and 13, which is ideal for kids looking for a new hobby, wanting to keep fit or just interested in sport!
