PEDAL FOR POUNDS 4 SHIRTS REVEALED!

Jerseys for cyclists and support team revealed

On the eve of the big departure for Town’s 300 ‘Pink Link Pedal for Pounds 4’ departure on Wednesday morning, the design for the cycling and support team tops have today been revealed!

The cycling tops, as modelled by Team Blue members Sean Jarvis and Andy Booth above, are personalised for each rider, with the cyclist’s name, team colour and stars depicting how many of the previous Pedal for Pounds rides they have completed over the past three years.

Only nine ‘four star’ Pedal for Pounds veterans who have taken part in every instalment of Pedal for Pounds will line up among the 300 this year; Town’s very own Dean Hoyle, Sean Jarvis and Andy Booth form an elite group alongside Graham Stead, Paul Rhys-Vivian, Ian Drew, Ian Marwood, David Fryer and Alex Moreno.

The riders will wear the shirts when they depart Canalside Sports Complex at 9am on Wednesday morning to embark upon the first leg of their 240 mile tour of Yorkshire to Hull on day one, as well as when they descend on the Stadium for their lap of honour ahead of Saturday’s npower Championship game against Barnsley.

The vital support team members also have personalised white shirts to wear, as sponsored by Orchard Energy and modelled by Town’s Supporter Partnerships Manager Robyn Deegan above.

The Club would like to thank all the companies who have sponsored the Pedal for Pounds 4 shirts this season; The Pink Link, Orchard Energy, Storeplan, Sound Leisure, Doodson Broking Group, S&O Fabrications, Franklyn Jewellers, Hepworth Honda, Gallagher Heath, Viking Bikes, Ice Valley, Sandwich King, Total Foodservice and Card Factory.
