Next meeting at Cedar Court Hotel
The Pink Link Pedal for Pounds 4 bike ride is now just three weeks away and the next cyclists meeting will be tonight at Cedar Court Hotel starting at 7.30pm.
Cyclists can expect to receive information regarding confirmed times of setting off each day and a detailed look at the route and feed stops.
They will also be shown the final design for their official personalised bike jerseys, which they’ll wear on the first and last days of the ride.
The shirts will feature stars on the shoulder representing how many Pedal for Pounds bike rides each person has taken part in, as well as their names and group colour.
Thanks to all the P4P4 sponsors whose logos are on the shirts: Pink Link, Orchard Energy, Storeplan Ltd, Doodson Broking Group, Sound Leisure Ltd, S&O Fabrications, Hepworth Honda, Franklyn Jewellers, Gallagher Heath, Viking Bikes, Sandwich King, Ice Valley and Total Foodservice.
Supporter Partnerships Manager Robyn Deegan commented: “Anticipation is growing amongst the P4P4 cyclists for the fourth bike ride and the meeting on Monday will be the first time they have seen the route in full. It won’t be an easy ride, but they’ll be pleased to know that the elevation levels are much less than P4P3 – let’s just hope for good weather now!”
There’s exactly three weeks to go until the Pink Link Pedal for Pounds 4 ride sets off from Canalside, on its way to Hull, Scarborough and Harrogate on the ‘Tour of Yorkshire’
290 cyclists will pedal 240 miles in aid of the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign which benefits both the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity and the HTAFC Academy.
‘Marathon Man’ David Elliott of Wellhouse Leisure is once again running the P4P4 route on his Tour of Yorkshire (on foot), for more information click HERE.
