CARR NETS IN DULWICH WIN

23 April 2013

Striker fires Dulwich to within four points of promotion

Huddersfield Town striker Daniel Carr scored and provided an assist as Dulwich Hamlet recorded a 3-1 victory at Herne Bay over the weekend.

The young striker set up Dean Lodge for the first before securing the points late on from inside the box.

Dulwich will guarantee promotion if they can gain four points from their final two games of the season.

The penultimate game of Dulwich's season is played tonight when they welcome Crawley Down Gatwick.

Elsewhere, Town’s Scott Kay completed his loan spell at Southport having made 16 appearances for the Blue Square Premier outfit.

Up in Scotland, Kallum Higginbotham has made seven appearances for Motherwell during his loan spell and has scored one goal.

In League 2, Liam Ridehalgh has found opportunities limited of late at Rotherham who recently signed former Town left-back Joe Skarz. Liam’s last start was in mid-March, but he recently came off the bench during the victory at Plymouth.
