Town fan’s marathon effort rewarded

After completing his mammoth task of running 1,000 miles in 20 days from Land’s End to John o’Groats in aid of the ‘Keep It Up’ Campaign, Alan Boothroyd is holding a homecoming party at Canalside Sports Complex on Saturday!

Alan has arranged the party to thank all the Town fans that supported him all the way through his run by tweeting and donating, so please get down if you can!

He has so far raised a whopping £16,500 which is the most money raised for the campaign by one single person through one single event. There will be representation from HTAFC as well as food, entertainment, presentations and a few words from the man himself about the highs, lows and the trials and tribulations of his run.

The party at Canalside will start on Saturday at 7pm and run until 1am. Entry is free and there will be free entertainment and food on offer. Come down to celebrate a wonderful achievement from Alan for all the work he has done for the Keep It Up Campaign!

You can still donate to Alan for completing his run – click HERE to access his JustGiving site!
