MERIDIAN SPONSOR MEMORABLE MATCH

12 September 2012

Local healthcare unit one of three match sponsors

Meridian Healthcare - a long time supporter of the Club - is backing Town’s campaign to raise awareness of dementia.

The local healthcare unit is one of three match sponsors of the Derby game and will work with Town to help raise awareness of the disease.

Meridian is an independent provider of care services, striving to improve the quality of life of older people through the provision of excellent long term care services and accommodation. It's healthcare centres offer long-term residential and dementia care services for older people. Whether a person’s dementia is in its early stages or advanced, Meridian can offer a care centre suitable for anyone. Their care mangers can help residents understand which care centre is suitable for them.

Its services are influenced by 1300+ residents, their families, day care users, health professionals and staff.  A continual programme of improvements to both our facilities and services reflects our goal to provide the best possible care and accommodation for our residents.

This isn’t the first time that Town and Meridian have teamed up; earlier this year Club Ambassador Andy Booth and former striker Jordan Rhodes visited their new home The Oakes as part of its grand opening.

More information regarding the other two match sponsors will be released via htafc.com prior to Saturday’s match. For more information regarding the Club’s pre-match plans on Saturday, click HERE.
